Both Agreements and DisagreementsOne's spiritual consciousness does not evolve as quickly when remaining in heaven as it can through the life experiences in a three-dimensional earth-bound experience. Nevertheless, a spirit may choose not to reincarnate. Alternately, some spirits who have evolved from many lifetimes and who have reached a level of not needing to return to earth will continue their spiritual growth from their spirit self in heaven.

AgreeEarth or other physical places can sometimes give lessons that cannot be done without a body, without physical needs, and without a physical interaction. Let us go to the example of hunger and thirst in two personalities. If the emotions of greed and fear are uppermost, then the one who has food and drink prevents the other from getting, or steals the little that they have. When the emotion is that of generosity, of service, of universal love and the understanding that the situation is transient, then benevolent emotions can reach out and assist the other personality, and the soul is advanced.

AgreeQuestion to Channeled [Valerie's] Higher Self: You mentioned earlier that a physical incarnation provides a way to learn that cannot be accomplished otherwise. As I understand it, there are many beings who choose never to incarnate. If incarnation is the only way to learn certain things, why do some beings choose not to have physical lifetimes? Ans: The human experience does not encompass every experience that is important for a being's growth. There are no words to explain some of the concepts that can be learned when a soul never incarnates on Earth or in a human personality.

AgreeThe reincarnational structure is but one facet in the whole picture of probabilities. In it you have literally as much time as you need, to develop those potentials that you must develop, before leaving the reincarnational existences.

AgreePerhaps your life span runs for seventy-seven years. After death, you may, under certain conditions and if you choose, experience the events of those seventy-seven years at your leisure - but not necessarily in terms of continuity. You may alter the events. You can manipulate within that particular dimension of activity that represented your seventy-seven years. If you find severe errors of judgment, you may then correct them. You may perfect, in other words, but you cannot again enter into that frame of reference as a completely participating consciousness following, say, the historic trends of the time, joining into the mass-hallucinated existence that resulted from the applied consciousness of your self and your 'contemporaries'. Some choose this rather than reincarnating, or rather as a study before a new reincarnation. These people are often perfectionists at heart. They must go back and create. They must right their errors. They use the immediately-past life as a canvas, and with the same 'canvas' they attempt a better picture.

AgreeSpirit is love. The universe is love. We are love. When we look beyond the personality to the eternal soul within, we recall who we really are. The temporary loss of that identity and its subsequent rediscovery-and the contrast between the two-give the soul a more profound self-knowing and self-appreciation. For the soul, this kind of stark contrast cannot be obtained or understood without a physical incarnation.

AgreeThose who choose to leave this system, whose reincarnational cycles are finished, have many more decisions to make.

People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.
