Life on Earth

Human travel in time Agree: 8 divider Disagree: 0

Both Agreements and DisagreementsAll past lives, all past experiences, all past wisdom and knowledge, carry forth with you into the time you are now living. Oftentimes when an individual travels back in time, they are actually just there observing the events that happen and do not have the ability and the depth of energy within them to change those times and events that are taking place.

AgreeIn the subconscious state, my subjects experience a chronology of time with their past and present lives which resembles what they perceive when conscious. There is a change when I take them into superconsciousness and the spirit world. Here they see the now of time as one homogeneous unit of past, present, and future. Seconds in the spirit world seem to represent years on Earth.

Agree...to say that all past life memory is actually genetic in origin, carried in our DNA cells from remote ancestors, is an argument that, for me, fails in several ways...Unconscious memories of past life trauma are capable of carrying a severely damaged physical imprint of that long-dead body into our new body, but this is not the result of DNA... The former bodies we had in prior lives are almost never genetically related to our current family...So-called genetic memory is actually soul memory emanating from the unconscious mind.

AgreeEach inner self, adopting a new body, imposes upon it and upon its entire genetic makeup, memory of the past physical forms in which it has been involved. Now the present characteristics usually overshadow the past ones. They are dominant, but the other characteristics are latent and present, built into the pattern. The physical pattern of the present body, therefore, is a genetic memory of the self's past physical forms, and of their strengths and weaknesses.

AgreeYou must remember also that abilities from past lives are at your disposal for your present use. You reap your own rewards. Information concerning these is often given to you in the sleep state, and there is a kind of gestalt type of dream, a root dream, by which those who have known each other in past lives now communicate.

AgreeThe past exists as a series of electromagnetic connections held in the physical brain and in the nonphysical mind. These electromagnetic connections can be changed...The future consists of a series of electromagnetic connections in the mind and brain also, and this is the only reality that you are justified in giving the present. In other words, the past and present are real to the same extent. On occasion the past can become more 'real' than the present, and in such cases past actions are reacted to in what you call the present. You take it for granted that present action can change the future, but present actions can also change the past. The past is no more objective or independent from the perceiver than it the present. These electromagnetic connections that compose the past were largely made by the individual perceiver, and the perceiver is always a participator. The connections, therefore, can be changed, and such changes are far from uncommon. They happen spontaneously on a subconscious basis. The past is seldom what you remember it to be, for you have already rearranged it from the instant of any given event. The past is being constantly re-created by each individual by each individual as attitudes and asssociations change. This is an actual re-creation, not a symbolic one. The child is indeed still within the man, but he is not the child that 'was.' For even the child within the man constantly changes...Once more, the only reality that can be assigned to the past is that granted to the symbols and associations and images that exist electromagnetically within the physical brain and nonphysical mind. I am speaking in your terms now, and this should be understood, as I am simplifying conditions considerably. A change in attitude, a new association, or any of innumerable other actions will automatically set up new electromagnetic connections and break others. Every action changes every other action-we go back to our ABC's. Therefore, every action in your present affects those actions you call past. Ripples from a thrown stone go out in all directions...Therefore, it is possible to react in the past to an event that has not yet occurred, to be influenced by your own future. It is also possible for an individual to react in the past to an event in the future which may never occur in your terms...In all of these instances, however, there are uncertainties, for probable events can be seen as clearly as events that will physically happen. No event is predestined. Any given event can be changed not only before and during but after its occurrence...There are, for example, limitations set here that must be clearly stated, but within these limitations you will find that events can be changed and are constantly changed, regardless of the apparent point of their original happening. All of this applies unless, of course, an individual is taken completely out of the physical time system. A murdered man will not be returned whole and intact to physical life [though he may return as a 'spirit', believing he is still alive]. In summation: the individual is hardly at the mercy of past events, for he changes them constantly. He is hardly at the mercy of future events, for he changes these not only before but after their happening. Again: the past is as real as the future, no more or no less. For the past exists only as a pattern of electromagnetic currents within the mind and brain, and these constantly change...An individual's future actions are not dependent upon a concrete finished past, for such a past never existed. From Jane Roberts- We were to discover that these ideas were not just theoretical. In the following chapter [Chapter 17] I'll tell you one of the strangest experiences of my life-one in which I was swept out of the world of time and space and then, just as suddenly, thrown back into it again.

AgreeYour thoughts and everyday experience contain the answers. Any successes in this life, any abilities, have been worked out through past experience. They are yours by right. You worked to develop them. If you look about you at your relatives, friends, acquaintances, and business associates, you will also see what kind of person you are, for you are drawn to them as they are drawn to you, through very basic inner similarities.

Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul, Jane Roberts
pg. 172, 1994

AgreeIf you examine your thoughts for five minutes at various times during the day for several times a month, you will indeed receive a correct impression of the kind of life you have so far arranged for yourself in the next existence. If you are not pleased with what you discover, then you had better begin changing the nature of your thoughts and feelings... you can do so. There is no rule saying that in each life you must meet again those whom you have known before and yet through the nature of attraction, that is often the case.

Both Agreements and DisagreementsEvery once in a while an individual is given a glimpse into the future, for one reason or another, to help them change the life path they are on, to help save a future soul, but generally speaking when you move forward it is not something that you touch and have concrete tangible evidence that you have been there, even in the spirit world.
