Both Agreements and DisagreementsGenerally, once a spirit has crossed over into heaven, it is met by loved ones, goes through a life review, and then moves to its spirit home.

AgreeThis place I have come to call the shower of healing is only a prelude for the rehabilitation of returning souls. The orientation stage which immediately follows (expecially with younger souls), involves a substation counseling session with one's guide. The newly refreshed soul arrives at this station to undergo a debriefing of the life just ended. Orientation is also designed as an intake interview to provide further emotional release and readjustment back into the spirit world.

Agree...after souls arive back into their soul groups, they are summoned to appear before a Council of Elders. While the Council is not prosecutorial, they do engage in direct examination of a soul's activities before returning them to their groups.

AgreeSuch is the state of spiritual enlightenment of the earth that in many cases these folk are completely unaware that they have died. That means simply that they have never ceased to live there has been an unbroken continuity of life for them, as indeed there is for all of us. This situation frequently arises among people who pass into the spirit world suddenly and perhaps without warning. Their lack of knowledge of conditions existing in the spirit world produces this state of bewilderment, and if there is added to that ignorance also the fact that, during their earthly life, they never gave any heed to a future life in the spirit world, then their situation becomes a doubly unhappy one. But there is in the spirit world a vast organization of all its immense resources, and it must not be thought that these bewildered souls are left to shift for themselves. They are soon taken in hand by others long resident in spirit lands?as you judge time?who devote their spirit lives to such work. Our task is often a difficult one because it is not always easy for the soul to grasp what has happened. The mental equipment of the individual may cause a reluctance to accept the truth. On the other hand, those who are mentally alert will soon see for themselves the exact situation. If only knowledge of the laws and conditions of spirit life were universally diffused throughout the earth world, what a wealth of difference it would make to each soul as he came to reside in these lands.

Agree"I had a sinking feeling. The daylight seemed to go. I swayed about in the dark and felt slightly giddy. Then the atmosphere became light and I heard the voices of my dear boys [who had 'passed on']. After a time of unconsciousness I suddenly became clearer...and saw my boys, my brothers and many others round me." (Rev. C. Drayton Thomas, In The Dawn Beyond Death, pg.20)

Agree"There was a crash and a blackness. It was not really pain as most people think of pain-a rending crash and then gone...I lay quiet and pictures came before me of myself as a little boy...Then I saw a car coming. I saw it brake and push something along the road. I looked, and it was my body. I looked at myself and saw my own body [double] seeming quite real and solid...Suddenly I saw Grandpapa, standing smiling all lit up, and knew I was killed. I said at once, 'Then mother was right-I have got an etheric body!' I felt terribly muddled and confused. Then came the thought of you...so I began to walk along the road...You opened the window and called, but did not see me. Yet I could see what you were thinking-how frightened you were! Suddenly I remembered what you said-that spirits can go through matter. I said, 'Here goes! and ran at the door-and passed right through it. I tried it two or three times...I shall be at the funeral tomorrow...I am still mixed up with the earth." (Alice Gilbert, Philip in Two Worlds, 1948, pg 89)

AgreeDeath is but an incident. Parting is only for a moment. And heaven is right at hand. If only this could be comprehended, we feel that life there would be more nearly one of contentment and happiness. (Unnamed spirit in Life Here and Hereafter, Fred Rafferty, ed. Charlotte E. Dresser, medium,1927 p.97)

Both Agreements and DisagreementsYour spirit home is where you are as a form of spirit energy, living with other spirit energies of the same consciousness, the same level of energy, and of the same like mind and thought that you carry as a spirit. You are a form of energy that interacts with other energies within your spirit home, but not all the time, and often you are in your spirit home with your own spirit guides.

AgreeFamiliar beings are clustered together in undulating masses of bright light.

AgreeWhen people in trance speak of being part of a soul cluster group, they are talking about a small primary unit of entities who have direct and frequent contact, such as we would see in a human family. Peer members have a sensitivity to each other which is far beyond our conception on Earth...Members of the same cluster group are closely united for all eternity. These tightly-knit clusters are often composed of like-minded souls with common objectives which they continually work out with each other. Usually they choose lives together as relatives and close friends during their incarnations on Earth.

AgreeI want to summarize what I have learned about the basic principles of soul group assignments: There appears to be a systematic selection procedure for homogeneous groupings of souls. Similarities of ego, cognitive awareness, expression, and desire are all considerations.

AgreeGuides are complex entities, especially when they are master guides. The awareness level of the soul determines to some extent the degree of advancement of the guide assigned to them. In fact, the maturity of a particular guide also has a bearing on whether these teachers have only one student or many under their direrction. Guides at the senior level of ability and above usually work with an entire group of souls in the spirit world and on Earth. These guides have other entities who assist them. From what I can see, every soul group usually has one or more rather new teachers in training. As a result, some people may have more than one guide helping them.

AgreeIn the spirit world, educational placement depends on the level of soul development....all highly advanced souls are old souls in terms of both knowledge and experience...Generally, the composition of a group of souls is made up of beings at about the same level of advancement, although they have their individual strengths and shortcomings.

AgreeComing to Earth is about traveling away from our home to a foreign land. Some things seem familiar but most are strange until we get used to them, especially conditions which are unforgiving. Our real home is a place of absolute, total acceptance and complete love. As souls separated from our home we can no longer assume these beautiful features will be present around us.

Destiny of Souls, Michael Newton

AgreeNow in this time of choosing [between life state] all of these matters are considered, and suitable preparations made, but the planning itself is all a part of experience and of development. The in-between existence, therefore, is every bit as important as the period that is chosen. You learn to plan your existence, in other words. You also make friends and acquaintances in these rest periods whom you meet again and again - and only, perhaps, during in-between existences. With them you may discuss your experience during reincarnational cycles. These are like old friends.

pg. 155-156, 1994

AgreeBefore the time of choosing, however, there is a period of self-examination, and your full history becomes available to you. You understand the nature of the entity, and you are advised by other portions of that entity, more advanced than yourself. You will become aware of your other reincarnational selves, for example. There will be emotional ties with other personalities whom you have known in past lives, and some of these may supercede your relationships in the immediately past life. This is a meeting place for individuals from your own system also, however. All necessary explanations are given to those who are disoriented. Those who do not realize that they are dead are here told of their true condition, and all efforts are made to refresh the energies and spirits. It is a time of study and comprehension. It is from this area that some disturbed personalities have those dreams of returning to the physical environment.

Both Agreements and DisagreementsAfter you have been transformed from human to spirit you begin to more and more expand your energies, more into your spirit life than into what your human life was. Energies of only supporting and loving and caring and teaching will be energies that you will experience, for you have left your earth energies and emotions behind and so you do not have to experience fear and hate.

AgreeQuestion to [Valerie's] Higher Self: My understanding of the personality is that it consists of a permanent, eternal core that survives death and reunites with the soul after death, as well as certain temporary traits that exist only during the lifetime. Ans: That is accurate. Question to [Valerie's] Higher Self: So, when a personality dies in a particular lifetime - say when Valerie dies in this lifetime - then her permanent core will be reunited with you? Ans: At this point it is not separate. Do not consider reuniting, for that betokens a separation. There is never any separation. What the personality feels [after death], when it feels one with God and higher self, is simply the brushing away of cobwebs that obscure its view, but it does not mean that it has not been connected.

AgreeIn the next life you will be working with those attitudes that are now yours. If you insist upon harboring hatreds within you now, you are very likely to continue doing so. On the other hand, those sparks of truth, intuition, love, joy, creativity, and accomplishment gained now, will work for you then as they do now. They are, you see, the only true realities. They are the only real foundations of existence...Through all your lives you will interpret the reality that you see in your own way, and that way will have its effect upon you, and in turn upon others.

AgreeNever be afraid of death. It is only the final sleep of the mortal mind, and has no power to affect the spirit mind. That grows stronger and brighter and more active from the moment of separation, until it becomes so educated and balanced that it is the all-in-all of spirit life. I found it so, for I went to sleep in the mortal mind, and discovered at last that I was more vividly awake than ever. (Spirit Control Mary Bosworth in Life Here and Hereafter, Fred Rafferty, ed.
